Description:

Shrink Wrap w/Pressure Sensitive Adhesive is designed to provide a water-tight seal on the ends of ductwork. It can be applied very rapidly and only requires a 2” overlap when covering large openings. It has a very high adhesion to galvanized, black iron, stainless steel, aluminum, and galvaneal sheet metal. Also, due to the molecular structure of the water-based adhesive, no residue is left on the metal after removal of the product. The product is tinted to allow inspectors to clearly identify that the sheet metal is wrapped with plastic. The plastic is available in 3 thicknesses (4mil – grey, 3mil – blue, 2mil – clear) and it has a high level of elasticity and is tear and puncture resistant. The shelf life is a minimum of one year at room temperature. After application, the sheet metal can be stored for an extended period of time at temperatures ranging from 16ºF to 120ºF without significant deterioration occurring to the plastic or the adhesive. The available widths are 2ft, 3ft, and 4ft.
